ESKRIMA-KALI-ARNIS
Eskrima-Kali-Arnis is the indiginous fighting system of the Philippines. It was used against the Spanish in the 1500’s and incorporates both empty hands and a variety of weapons.

DOCE PARES
Doce Pares was formed in 1932 when the twelve greatest Grandmasters of Cebu, Philippines pooled their knowledge and styles. The Canete and the Saveedra families formed the backbone of the group who quickly became famous as ferocious and effective fighters.

DOCE PARES ‘INTERNATIONAL’
The Headquarters of Doce Pares remains in Cebu, Philippines and is run by Supreme Grandmaster Dionisio ‘Diony’ Canete. Several Grandmasters and Masters also reside there helping govern Doce Pares around the world.

DOCE PARES ‘EUROPE’
In Europe Grandmaster Daniel ‘Danny’ Guba heads Doce Pares since his move from the Doce Pares Headquarters in 1996. GM Danny Guba is answerable only to SGM Diony Canete.

DOCE PARES ‘FULHAM’
In 2009 GM Danny Guba authorised Roel and Cielito Caneja to teach in the Fulham area of London. The club was thus named ‘Doce Pares Fulham’. Both are private students of GM Danny Guba which provides a wealth of knowledge. Roel and Cielito are a Filipino family with a desire to teach this beautiful art to all nationalities. A family atmosphere is generated by Roel and Cielito who treat the role of ‘instructor’ as an honour.
